Practical how-tos
QR codes in hotels: one code per room instead of a folder
The welcome folder gets lost and the Wi-Fi card fades. One QR code in the room puts everything in one place and can be updated without printing anything again.
What goes behind the code
Wi-Fi (with the password printed underneath, in case a scanner misbehaves), breakfast times, check-out, the safe code, house rules, how to call a taxi, where the bins are in an apartment. The small things that get asked at reception over and over.
One code per room, not one per hotel
That way you see which room writes most often and which questions keep repeating. You can also give a specific room something extra: a late check-out, the sea view, an extra bed.
Ask for the review at the right moment
Asking at reception is too late, the guest is already rushing. Better on the page they open while still in the room on departure day. And only after the page has been useful: Wi-Fi, house guide, map.
